Nextcloud – Integration with the Joint Municipal Infrastructure
Our app integrates Nextcloud with the joint municipal access management and organisational service, providing access to the shared municipal systems.

The app supports integration with the two central services in the joint municipal infrastructure:
- Access Management
- Organisation
The organisational structure is synchronised once a day. For each department, the app automatically creates a team folder and a corresponding user group in Nextcloud.
When users log in to Nextcloud via the joint municipal access management, they are automatically created as users in Nextcloud if they hold one of the two defined system roles: User or System Administrator.
Users with the System Administrator role are automatically assigned to Nextcloud's admin group and thereby gain rights to perform administrative tasks.
Users with the User role are assigned the User role with the organisation as their data scope. They gain access to the team folders linked to the organisations included in their data scope.
The team folders are available in the Files app, where documents can be created, edited, and shared.
License
The app is released under the AGPL 3.0 license, meaning the source code is freely available and you may use, modify, and redistribute the software, as long as any changes are also released under the same license and the source code is made available — including when the software is used as a network-based service.
